It's called "Schadenfreue" in German and common here with little mishaps like falling while ice-skating. Of course only if the person is not injured. People laugh, the person who fell laughs too then about their mishap, everything is fine. 🤷♀️ I miss the time when people were not offended about everything. 🙄

What I find more interesting than whether or not this is a funny Fools day prank is what happened to that Fallout 76 win. In this case I don't care either way but I think the people who make those funny Resident Evil "You should totally shoot the water" jokes should drink a canister of bleach 😄

Yeeaah... kind of. Although they try really hard to avoid those terms and even at one point explicitely point out it's not christian heaven or hell because for example people from all faiths go there.
Basically it starts out with Kristen Bell waking up sitting in a very calmingly decorated office and being told by Ted Danson she died in a rather embarrassing way and was sent to The Good Place. But what nobody except her knows - it was kind of a mix-up and she doesn't belong there.
I think that gives a rough idea of the show - without spoiling too much 😅

The real win message with the cat never includes the name of the game, it just says "You won a new gift". You probably either got the April fools message saying you won nothing and read it wrong (maybe Fallout76 was in the background being the next giveaway to end) or you imagined the whole thing.

Like others said as well, the April Fool's day joke was saying 'you won nothing' and it was a different cat, if it states you won a game with the actual game name and the space cat, it means you actually did win something but maybe it got removed or re-rolled or whatever? Not sure, maybe a bug, who knows, but that can't have been the joke one unless you didn't pay enough attention and imagined the 'Fallout 76' part.

I got shown that dialog with the stupid moving cat and was told I won Fallout 76.
After that: nothing.
Some kind of bug. Either the won game is somehow bugged away, or I got a wrong buggy message about a win which did not exist.
