Feels bad, man.

RIP TB.
I wasn't a die hard fan, but the stuff I've watched and heard was always quality.
I didn't follow the few controversies he had, but I generally ended up agreeing with him more than with many others.
And when we disagreed, he never disappointed with something bizarre or illogical nonsense.

Efforts of his work will be never forgotten. We have only Jim Sterling at this point. His Day One Garry's Incident video only was a prophet of how low Steam will become...Now we had Digital Homicide and it's still shows that people can't take criticism in post-Direct games.

Crap :(
Used to watch his videos even when I wasn't interested in the game itself. Yup, they were that entertaining. Of all the game reviews, his were the best.
Haven't been following him much lately. But a couple of months ago I got interested to know how he's doing, and saw that he's still active and posting. Thought he's won the battle and felt relieved :(

I wasn't ever a fan of him really. But I've lost a lot of close people in the last few months. So I know how shitty it is to lose someone to cancer and lose someone so young..
RIP TB.
Best wishes to his friends and family.

TB really did the best reviews and was the biggest advocate for PC gamers that I can think of.
For those of you who have been missing from his WTF is series like I am, Karak from ACG on Youtube is the closest I've found to a replacement.

The guy put a lot of himself into his work, that's what made him so great. He didn't change his opinions to get the maximum number of views or go for the lowest hanging fruit. I didn't always agree with him but always respected the way he held himself to a certain standard. Most people doing what he did nowadays just put out whatever will get the most views (or which sponsorship pays the most) and doesn't care about anything else.
RIP TB, you will be missed.

I remember watching a lot of his videos during college. He was one of the reasons that I started playing Dota 2.
I also remember an interview that he did a few months ago where he talked about only getting 1 good day in a week and how, even though the rest of them were hard to bear, that one day was still worth fighting for.
Rest in peace, John.

Sad news indeed. I always found his videos to be actually useful, unlike the other slew of screaming men who never grew up. He would give you important information, mix it with some opinion and then actual normal gameplay without trying to be funny for the sake of more views. He will be missed.

Damn, I just got a little sick to my stomach. Wasn't expecting to read that he had passed ...
When video-games are a huge part of your life, people like TotalBiscuit become a huge part of your life as well.
He'll be sorely missed. Rest in peace. ;_;

TL:DR - Conventional treatments ineffective, liver too damage for clinical trials that we know of. I'm retiring as a critic to spend whats left of my life sharing my love of gaming with my wife and all of you via co-op videos and streams. The podcast will continue every week, with a streamlined 2-hour format. We have no plans to launch any kind of donation campaign and suggest above a list of ways to support us if you would like to.
Thank you for reading, watching or listening and I will see you soon, along with Genna, on a stream or YT channel near you.
