I'm currently drinking some Yuengling Lager. I usually drink anything cheap with high alcohol content. My favorite has to be Leinenkugel's Orange Shandy. So, how about you fine adults?

I actually had proper Duff beer before, like the one from Simpsons and it tasted pretty amazing, but I haven't been able to find it since. I usually drink Coronas though just because its easiest although I had this amazing Japanese beer once before which was heaps good. Interesting thread I'd like to hear of the best beer.

If I can afford it, Jupiler or Alfa or something like that. Otherwise I go for Dommelsch usually which is rather cheap beer. And also not really 'beer' IMHO, but goes nice along a dinner.

Where I used to live, there was a casino with it's own brewery, and they had a really good dark beer, (blackjack something, don't remember the specific type of beer, dark with high alcohol content, might have been an ale) that was good, around here I have been having "Barrel 11's Sinister Black Ale" not quite as good, but still very enjoyable nonetheless.

I try to brew a different one every time. My last one was a Sierra Nevada clone, a bit more bitter though. I'm a fan of my strawberry wheat beer.

The free kind.

Got a thing for wheat beers at the moment, something like a Franziskaner or a Weihenstephan Hefe-Weiss.

Dunno where you live, but if you can get the Hacker-Pschorr Weisse, it might also be up your alley. One of my favorite wheat beers. My fav is a local, but only on tap, so unlikely for you to get unless you're here in town/nearby.

Thanks for that, just had a quick search on google - I think ordering online would be the way to go if I want to try Hacker-Pschorr.

I'm in the UK and apparently there's a bar in Edinburgh that has it and a couple in London. I'm bang in the middle of those two and both are about 200 miles away.

Really depends on the mood.

Special occasions: Chimay Blue, St Bernadus Abt 12, Founder's Breakfast Stout and Stone Double Bastard (when available)

Sessions: Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, Bell's Two Hearted, New Belgium 1554, many many others

Every day cause I'm poor: Hamm's, Budweiser, Busch

I like beer.

So many good beers, I don't know if I've got a favourite. I generally prefer stronger stuff - Belgian Tripels/Quads and the odd barley wine. Thomas Hardy's Ale is hard to beat, but equally hard to get hold of in this part of the world.

One of my favourite NZ brews is the iStout, by 8 Wired.

Class in a glass :)

After a hard day of work a pilsener will do (such as hertog jan), but for the special occasion most definitely a tripel. (Though I must admit I won't say no a barley wine such as gulden draak or a scotch ale such as duvel)

Has to be a Belgian beer. It's a tie between Delirium Tremens (the famous pink elephant beer) and Pannepot

Haha Delirium tremens! That's the good stuff! Once, a buddy of mine was so drunk on Delirium he decided to climb out of a third story window to go say hi to the neighbours. Of course he fell, on a split second he got saved by a rastaman who grabbed him by his foot :D

Am I really the only one in the world that doesnt drink alcoholic things? (Not because I cant, but because I dont really like them). Also, I cant even stand beer's smell. I usually wash my hands every time I touch a bottle and it leaves beer on my hand.

Brewed and distilled things are still foodstuffs, and just like every kind of food there are people that like it, only like certain kinds, or don't like it at all.

So why are you touching beer bottles if you don't like beer?

Nearly everyone from around me drinks beer, and when we go to a market or something like that, they get beers, that might be an example.
