Your favorite alternative comics! (and MoH origin key)

I've always been interested in alternative comics. By that, I mean Western comics that aren't straight-up superhero (and I still like manga, just not what I'm talking about right now). Even stuff like Superman Red Son and Marvel 1602 qualifies for me, it just needs that different twist. I'm currently following the Spire and collecting some other stuff, but I'd like suggestions for more series that I can maybe grab some TPBs of.

Let me know what you like and why! If there's a really great comment that I love I'll give them a Medal of Honor Origin key, which isn't much but it's something.
