Permalink reply defaults

When you click on a permalink for a post, the reply field should be default set to reply to the permalinked post -- not the thread itself.

I wouldn't like replying someone by mistake and bothering innocent users. I prefer cllicking the Reply link.

Instead then, maybe in the Messages page there should be a "Reply" link as well instead of only a "Permalink" link? I'd actually like that better.
