I want to load a new audiobook on my ipod before I go to bed, but I'm all out of ideas.

Edit: Sci-fi and fantasy are my preferred genres, but any good book is worth my attention.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Yeah, this one's good. I've just read a free pdf anyone can get from the Polish publisher. Great book and it stimulated my imagination to the point where I had a nightmare set in the book's world.
If you like that, I'd recommend Arkady and Boris Strugatsky books, starting with "Roadside Picnic". Anyone knows Stalker series, right? It was based on that short novel.

The name of the wind by Patrick Rothfuss. One of the best books. Original and incredibly well thought out.

Monster Hunter International by Larry Correia. Modern day monster hunting, and has (in my opinion) a good voice actor for it. I can easily pick out each character by the voice used, and it's just a flat out -fun- book to me. Then again, I've got a weird idea of 'fun'. ;)

Great story, but I kept falling asleep during the audio book. Same thing with the AB for The once and future king. Love the book, but to took me two months to get through the audio book because I kept falling asleep.

Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson (Really steep learning curve for this series, but well worth it!)

The Forever War by Joe Haldeman (This is some older sci-fi so the dates might be a little jarring. e.g. Starts in ~1997)

Dune by Frank Herbert (A classic)

A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin (A bit on the shorter side, but still fantastic)
