Far Cry 3 (UPlay version?) for $15 at Gamer's Gate thru Nov. 4th...

OK, so that's a decent price for the game, but the "Steam or UPlay?" controversy was never settled in the SG forums. This appears to be a UPlay version because the word "Steam" is nowhere to be found in the description. As far as I know, you can't get a Steam key for this game from Ubisoft. Is that correct?

Been cheaper on steam,or the same price, oh well.. you can't get a steam key from Uplay

Everything is basically a UPlay version. If you get a Steam key you really just get the card drops and a link to the UPlay client in your Steam library.

AFAIK the only way to get Far Cry 3 on Steam is to purchase it on Steam. Everywhere else seems to give uPlay keys.
