I took all the money and bought games! Now she's divorcing me.... So, I'm making giveaways!

Okay, I didn't spend the money on games and we aren't getting divorced. I'm pretty sure my wife would kill me with an axe befoure becoming an ex-wife! The weird thing is, I personaLly don't 'feel' a change and everyone keeps asking questions about the married life. For me, at least, it's the same as before being married... Maybe that's just me - I guess more changes for the women due to the name change and such.

Oh, the giveaways weren't a joke. To kind of 'celebrate' and a little bit to clean out my inventory. =p The first three are public (besides the 'requirements), but then I figured I might as well make coming to the thread a bit more useful! So, the last couple are private.

The Political Machine 2012 - CV $30.01
The Political Machine 2012 - CV $30.01 & SG group
The Political Machine 2012 - CV $50.00
Just Cause - CV $30.01
Two Worlds Epic Edition - CV $30.01

There's a 'hidden' giveaway in the second paragraph. The bolding was hard for me to see after creating the thread, so wanted to point that out to everyone. I'll see how that goes and maybe add hints or tweak it later in the week.

Yes, marriage is no different if you were already living with each other. Its all the same except in the eyes of the law.

It's not just you. I can only guess that something needs to be capitalized.

Sorry about that. I didn't know capitalization mattered for that portion. Fixed that.

Gratz on being married for 3 weeks. If you don't feel a difference now, you'll prolly never feel it either. I've been married for 15 years already and still don't thing our relation is so much different as when we were just living together ;-)

Also thanks for the gifts you offer to celebrate your 3-week anniversary. Just wondering though... 3x Political Machine... Is that telling something about your view on the marriage? :-D

I bought the 4-pack and none of my RL friends wanted it (or have been on in a long time). So, SGers benefit! =p

Just wait until you get to a year! It's a year for me this Halloween (No we are not goths/emos etc - that's just our favorite holiday). I agree with you. Everyone asks how married life is, and the answer is always the same as it was before we got married. We STILL live together, sleep together, play games together. Congratulations on getting married however. Best day of your life, unless you have children, i've yet to experience that (we are trying ;-) so I'll keep you informed whether that's a clever move or not :P )

P.S i took my wifes name and still not really that different

Congrats on 1 year coming up! My wife wants kids right away, so we're trying for that as well. She wants four kids I think...so, hopefully they don't need to be close together. Her older brother has three boys right now. All a year apart (the family joke is how his wife is so fertile). He handles it very well, but I don't think I'd like to be in his shoes hehe.

Oh hell no. We drawing the line at 2! Though she wants to give a child a chance and foster after them. Which is fair enough. Is it sad i look forward to the sleepless nights and "being a responsible adult" :3 lol

Ha. I think that's really after the 'puppy love' phase of dating.... But I'm not actually playing games much, I idle for cards or (in this case) leave the game running.

Congratulations! Yes, I know it doesn't feel different, but getting married is a solid commitment. You're basically saying to the other person, "I'm committing to this and intend to go the distance." That usually means more to the lady than it does to the gentleman. In any case, roll with the ups and downs and keep the health of your marriage top priority. Kids and/or in-laws should not come between you and your wife. In fact, nobody should. A "united front" is very important for a Avyib and lasting marriage. That, and tracks leading to PSd7g.

Gratz mate! Also, I don't really think you need to tweak that 'hidden' GA. I practically found the giveaway code before I decently finished the first sentence (the bold characters really jumped in my vision before I even started reading the actual text).

Gratz! I was married a little over a month ago haha. We feel the same as you. We had been living together for over 5 years, so after being married it was the same the next day but with the "wife" moniker instead of "girlfriend". I still prefer to call her "female unit", but she doesn't appreciate that too much. lol
