well said.. i think 50% of the people who blacklisted me were due to debates.. such a shame people can't actually get into a debate without taking such offense to things... on the other hand though, i'd say probably 33% of the people who whitelisted me were due to the same debates.. so i guess there is a cosmic balance in there somewhere.

my personal least favorite is being blacklisted before the debate even starts. some people are so scared of a debate the moment it looks like one is about to come they go straight for the blacklist. i personally love em, ive had my opinion even change to the person ive debated cause they brought valid points to me i never even considered. imo its a very healthy thing to do, as long as its constructive and non-flamatory.

I only add people who actively breaks rules to my blacklist yet i'm in 110 blacklist myself because if you even make a noise or a move on this site = blacklist. Internet really shows nature of a human beings best. If you can anonymously make fault to someone else , you will.

Actually from what i have seen you sound rude. Maybe you are not or not trying to be rude but this is what i have seen from your comments. Not saying it's an excuse to blacklist either but your blacklists might come from not only from disagreement also from rudeness when you are trying to make a point. We can see that passive agressive thing you do in this topic too. Just wanted to say that.

I black list re-gifters (who won here and re-gift without shame) and rule breakers, very rarely someone who go's over the top attacking me, mostly I forgive them take them off and get attack again. So yeah xD ergmm yeah. I should clean it out one day. >_<

well that is good to know :) - I think that the thread seems to have triggered you though - and perhaps you have had a number of these recently that have irked you - which I can appreciate entirely, it is the regifters that really gnaw at me - especially the ones who do it time and time and time again grrrrrrr - that's what triggers me anyway :P (perhaps, judging if something is allowed or not should be left to the moderators - but I am not sure if they police such things without a ticket and I know I wouldn't want to add to that workload :)

What a sign of the times. A time when disagreement = blacklist. If there ever once was a time and place where people actively engaged in the exchange of ideas, this is neither the time nor the place. At steamgifts, where people are so molded in ideology and character... where everyone has already created a cemented idea of how everything in the world should work - and damn everyone who doesn't agree to their blacklist - I cannot help but feel so jealous of those individuals and their staunch ignorance to think that their opinion is beyond questionable.
So as I continue to be added to other people's blacklists for having a different opinion, let me tell you all how none of you are on my blacklist... see I celebrate the differences of ideology, I do not punish it. 11 unfortunate leechers are the only individuals who reside on my blacklist, not the people who insult me on the forums, not the people who are rude on the forums, and certainly not the people who I disagree with on these forums and have debates - in fact most people who provide an insult free debate are added to my WL.
Stand up for what you believe in, fight for those who cannot defend themselves, listen and be heard... and above all else celebrate the differences of others whether that is race, color, creed, religion, beliefs, or opinions. The real secret of the world is that you do not limit others through racism, religious hate or silencing opposition to your opinion - you truly only limit yourself.
