With the collapse of our civilization imminent, here are my thoughts about how to survive

I'm researching a way to turn nerf guns into real guns and supersoakers into flamethrowers.

edit 16/9: supersoaker experiment was not particularly successful and I decided not to tempt fate so nerf experiment is postponed.

UPDATE:
Registrations for my outlaw gang will be closing in ~30 hours. After that I will need some time for my burns to heal and then we start training.

There can never be too many potatoes, especially now after seeing the results from the supersoaker experiment I strongly feel that growing potatoes will be of vital importance. I'm also suspecting that some of those who claim to be potato farmers are in fact cannibals wanting some fried potatoes with their meat.

You do realize the old west, much like Bushido samurai culture, is imaginary, created to make history sound more exciting. We actually had really good record keeping at the time the "old west" supposedly happened, and the amount of deaths at the time was really unimpressive. You're in more danger in modern society than you would have been then.

As to our society collapsing, that would not shock me in America, our government has lost their minds, and is so out of touch with the common man that they just pick tons of candidates with hugely different "ideals" hoping to hit a bullseye on some large demographic to exploit.

If that happened, most people would simply die, most people can't even imagine living off the land, or needing to avoid other people who may want to kill and take from them. Look how many people gave up their freedom to protect themselves and their children after 9/11, they all at that shit up.

I've played a ton of fallout. I'm ready.

You're implying we were ever civil. The animals at the slaughterhouse aren't civil just because the feed is easily acquired.
