"new" idea

Next week, I'm going on a holiday for 7+ days.
If I manage to win something the day I leave, I won't be able to claim it before the winner rerolls or something.
I was thinking (and am probably not the first one to think of this) that one should be able to state on his profile that he/she is on a holiday until x/x/x or something.
Or some kind of personal note like steam has, so one can state whatever one wants like holiday etc.

Anyways, would this work?
Why or why not?

yes but not everyone clicks as far as that. I mean, a note on SG is closer and might actually be seen

If they're asking for a reroll 99% of the time they'll try and add you on steam to ask why you haven't activated it. When they go to do that, they'll see the note.

Level 10 you get a showcase, but you can do the same with your normal profile description.

Or you could just remove your entries for the time you're not going to be able to receive the gifts.

I wouldn't like waiting over a week for someone to mark it as received ;)
