the 2k bundle at HB has a really strong 1$ tier. Spec Ops is a TPS with a strong emphasis of the horrifying nature of war, The Darkness II is an FPS with some unique mechanics and with a really solid story, memorable characters. Throw in the supernatural and some mindfuck for good measure. Duke Nukem 4ever ... you'll decide that, I haven't played it to judge.
Spec Ops is a little unforgiving on hard (who would have thought?) but otherwise great, and The Darkness II soon turned out to be way more than a gory FPS - it's one of my favourite games, mostly because of it's storyline. I really recommend both games :)
