Opinions on KPop. Be Honest!

I don't rly like KPop nor Jpop. The only time I listen to it is while Starcraft II / League of Legends korean tournaments. They play it whole the time through "commercial break" :(

Some KPop songs are good, I just don't see the hype.

Can't stand it. But I can stand very few pop songs in general.

I always enjoyed finding new music that's different from what I'm used to hearing on the radio here. Kpop is refreshing in a way for me and I like listening to it from time to time ^^

I hate most pop music, so going by that I hate most Kpop.

It is mostly served as a show business rather than music. There are some K-pop songs that are catchy and enjoying, the rest mostly dances and visual effect. When it comes to music, surely K-pop would stand a place in bar, dance music, but not something good for the ears.

I don't really like pop music in languages that I understand. Most of the time the song texts are pretty bad. That is way I kinda enjoy
J-Pop and K-Pop. Most of the time it is J-Pop (from anime etc.) so I can't really say much about K-Pop. But like TheHrony I listened to
K-Pop in the brakes of Korean League of Legends tournaments.
To clarify the situation (it looks like you misunderstood it): We are talking about tournaments we are watching on a stream and between the matches are "commercial break" were they only play music videos so not "real" commercials. It is not ingame, their is no ingame voice chat in LoL :)

Because it contains the word "pop", I'm glad I don't know anything about it! :D

Can't stand it. Just feels like standard girl/boy group and/or contemporary R&B music that people seem to like just because it's foreign. I feel the same way with their movies.

It's Jpop from 10~ years ago, mostly. Decent pop music with jiggling male or female dancy shit to buy posters of. That said, I thought H.O.T. were pretty great in their last two albums. Moon Hee Joon's solo stuff was great.

At first I hated but then it got under my skin and I became infected and now i am a kpop zombie trying my best to find survivors.

Kpop? Meh, its for girls who like pretty boys. Will never ever get it why some people really get into them. Headbanging FTW!!

Not my style of music, I respect whatever people want to listen too though all music is good in its own way.

I like them... :3 Kara is the best in my opinion, but I also like f(x), After School, Sistar, Super Junior and Lee Hi.

I often listen to vocal(Michael Bublé, Jason Mraz, Josh Groban). I'm not really interested in Kpop at all, but it's kinda ironic that old Kpop songs keep me focused when I'm working on something

If you mean girl groups or boy groups, their music? Not bad.
Actually, I like their looks better than music. I prefer old Kpop songs from the '70s to the '90s instead of modern Kpop.

For about a year or so I was interested in it, but I lost interest pretty quickly after that. I find J-pop/J-rock preferable.

The kind of genres I like are generally alternative rock, as well as soul/R&B. Oh and orchestrated music is great as well, be it movie/game soundtracks or anything else. Oh yeah, can't forget to mention solo piano covers of songs (usually anime ones, but not limited to those).

They're catchy. But more often than not they make me confused and I quickly lose interest.
