Thanks for the feedback. It basically matches what I was thinking. While a larger discount might be possible, it's very unlikely that something starting as high as around 75% off is going to get discounted any further. What I'll probably do then is wait to see if any games I particularly want make it to a daily deal or flash sale, and if so buy them plus any game or few that's already sitting at 75% off at the same time. Then pick up anything else I might want, or just take time considering, on the last day.

I've read the tips that say to wait to buy games you want until the last day of the summer sale unless they become daily deals or flash sales and get an even bigger price drop. It's good advice, since it helps you get the largest discount. But I see that some games that don't appear to be in either category already have deep discounts, like 75% off. This seems to be Steam's maximum reduction (~75-80%) from what I've seen. So what are the chances of those games going to an even lower price? Is it really worth waiting on those games, or is the risk of further reduction so small that it's pretty safe to buy them whenever you want? Thanks!
