Anyone play Guncraft on Desura?

Played abit but on the offline mode, looks like a pretty nice game.

Haven't played the multiplayer because I didn't want to create a Guncraft account, hope when it will come to Steam it won't ask for Guncraft account.

EDIT: You could spend 15$ on it, but I would recommend it that much, there are other better games for that price.

It was for 1$ on Groupees some weeks ago and I have to say it's 100% worth it. It's how Ace of Spades should have been: you can create custom classes and maps, has many modes and it even has kill streaks.

I only played the DRM free version (from Groupees bundle, didn't want to install Desura and as I'd rather wait for a Steam key if it gets greenlit). So I can't say if I played the latest version. The game is pretty nice overall, like Ace of Spades, but with more features and worse graphics. Only thing I hated was the jumping mechanic - when you jump, you jump for a fixed distance (no control while in the air). Which is horrible in a voxel game where you constantly have to jump. I also couldn't join any of the servers for some reason (yes, I did register correctly in game). But other than that it looks like a promising game, with some more polish it could be everything that Ace of Spades could have been.

I would try to trade for it though as it was in the last Groupees Be Mine bundle and I'm sure you can get it for far less than 15$ on Steamtrades.

I'm sure you can get it cheaper on SteamTrades!
