What do girls think about facial hairs? (Edited with another question :p)

I hate beards in general simply because it looks awful in most men - IMO. Plus, let's face it. When a woman kisses a men she wants to feel skin, softness, not spiky hair against her lips and face.

Let's put it like this... I bet most men don't like to see hair in women, either.

Of course, there are exceptions.

My girlfriend likes my, not really beard, but when I'm scruffy from not shaving for a week or two. Since I work in a restaurant, I really can only stay scruffy when I'm off for periods of time though.

I'm sure any girl would appreciate my goat.

I love facial hair. My boyfriend is in the military so I was really sad when he had to shave it off. ;_; but I like them because I think they look very handsome and manly. It CAN feel like "kissing sonic" or sandpaper but that usually happens when it's either been shaved recently and is just scratchy stubbly or if the guy doesn't maintain and condition it regularly. Keep your beards soft and (some) ladies love em!

My girlfriend likes the 'three-day beard' style that I normally rock. If I got for about a week without trimming it down it's too much though.

There's been some studies on it and women generally find men with beards more "manly". However, "manly" becomes more and more abstract and it doesn't automatically mean women are more attracted to them as it changes with society. Metrosexual pussies are often considered attractive nowadays so the best advice is to go with what you like cause it will give you confidence and that's what women like universally.

Depends on who's wearing it. Some individuals look great with just about anything, though a few end up looking like a rabid badger died on their face.
Of course I don't think I'll ever be able to completely stand coarse facial hair on anyone. I get close to someone who has it and I just... uughhg asdfakkf Creeps me right the fuck out, it does. I've always had texture sensitivity, which makes a little roughness feel like I'm being sandpapered. :u

@op they get softer and poofy when you grow them out more. only spiky as stubble. Did you never grow one beyond stubble too short to bend?

Beards are awesome and manly. Everyone should grow one.

I trim mine every 6-8 day. I did get slightly more attention from female (though not the one I was expecting) but I myself also like my new look (used to be clean shaven) so everybody wins.

I prefer clean shaven men, but lumberjack beards are pretty nice.

Whoa whoa just because some girls like guys to have a beard doesn't mean they like kissing goats (j/k I know you meant goatee).
My wife says she doesn't mind when I grow a beard but really she finds it itchy, I have really wiry beard hair though and it grows pretty fast so it's a pain to shave and I used to go through a lot of disposable razors so have to use an electric shaver.

I prefer the goatee/mustache look. The mustache should be kept short and the goatee shouldn't be more than about 2-3" long. I like the kind of beards that are just from not shaving, soft and still short enough~the trick though is keeping it trimmed enough that it's not growing up your entire face, and not growing down on your neck. The weird shaped facial hair is just..well, wrong. Clean shaven is fine, but I think the other is sexier. Yes, this is a woman's opinion =P Hope that was specific enough =)

Ultimately, it just depends on the person, as with any other preference. Just go with what you're comfortable with and the rest will sort itself out. My facial hair (or lack thereof) is usually a reflection of the climate. As the weather is about to turn cold, I'm starting to grow out my winter coat to shield me from the elements. But, I also couldn't get a date if everyone's life depended on it, so take my words with a grain of salt.

I prefer shaved men, but I'm not saying that bearded men are ugly.. Well, maybe some :D
