Mad Max

  • RU/CIS: perhaps {74484} which would mean 3 extra DLCs compared to what others get.
  • CN: {74486}
  • LATAM: perhaps {74485} which would mean only the base game, no DLCs.
  • Everyone else: {74483}

Genesis Alpha One Deluxe Edition

Notes:

  • When purchasing Mad Max directly from the store (outside Japan), you also get Mad Max - The Ripper DLC which is not included in the key you receive from this bundle.

Are you Built To buy this, or will you Survive without it?

View Results
[Tier 1] I don't own Deadly Days and that's more than 90% off. I'm in.
[BTA] I'm unfazed that you can't get 100% achievements in Mad Max anymore. One copy for me.
[Tier 3] After missing out on the free World War Z, I'm filled with (expensive) regret. Truly an Epic fail on my part.
[Have] Previously bundled games remixed into some sort of game diarrhea? I'm sure I already cleaned this up some time before.
[Skip] It's hard enough to Survive in the real world, don't need games for that.
[Complaint] A dollar for a game is not how Tier 1 should look.
[Complaint 2] Epic games key in T3? What an Epic joke. Not.

It just feels so empty. Usually, you get 2-3 games for T1 but only 7 games total (6 steam games) just feels so small.

Oh, there's no doubt that will happen. I'm surprised it's taken this long, to be honest.

Doesn't mean I'll spend money on it, though. ;)

Hell no. That's even worse. No way I'm letting Epic anywhere near anything that has my credit card, bank or Paypal info.

Not with their utter disrespect and contempt for customers, privacy laws/GDPR, and security. I'm sure lots of people consider their weekly free games enough of a bouquet of flowers to make up for the transgressions. It's a classic abuser's tactic, using gifts to make people forget the bad behavior. No thank you. I'm not giving Epic, or anyone who makes their games Epic Exclusive, any money.

Besides, the last time people linked Epic to something, they lost access to games and DLC. Linking Epic to Origin apparently overwrites all Origin games and Steam-owned Origin games with their Epic version, even if you owned DLC or the GOTY and the Epic version is only the base version without DLC. No idea how that even managed to pass quality control on either side.

Sounds like Origin is a dumpsterfire

You can see on the EPIC dedicated thread that after updating Origin everythings back to normal.
So probably some incompatibilities that were not diognised initially. I mean you can't expect them to notice everything. Some bugs are going to find their way in the product you use. That's true for everyone.

I really can't decide if I'm disappointed or not. From one side - how long can they keep up bundles of good games ? Game industry isn't pumping out games at such quantities that humble could create bundles everyone loves for 20-30 games a month. So we are expected to see decline from the golden days of bundles where we expected to get every game at great prices. But from other side this really shows they are struggling - two rebundles, one game in T1, EGS game in third.

I expect them to put out for epic even more, because they will probably offer money for creating some dumb ass exclusive bundles or something. I might consider using Epic if it wouldn't be such a dumpster fire that lacks any functions at all. Let's wait next week and see what happens with choice bundle - could this be some kind of way of testing water to see what's the response to having epic game in bundle ? I do sure hope they won't go this way for choice. If they will I suppose it's skip time until I get bored or see a really desired game which I would even use EGS to play.

Mad Max alone is worth the buy, the rest is just throw-in in my opinion...

Would have liked Mad max, but wow the BTA is unexpectedly expensive. So I paid 73p to contribute to bringing it back down a bit, even if it's only ONE GAME.
