United Airlines met my food expectations on the flight to Tokyo. They weren't very high in the first place though. Curried couscous salad and teriyaki chicken. Super authentic Japanese food, I know.

I always enjoy airline food. The taste is usually a bit bland, but I've never had a bad meal.

That's a lot of food for an airline meal.

I usually just eat the bread. I don't like airline food most of the time.

I'd be happy if I got that on an airline.

I have to say they've definitely improved since my first trip to Japan in 2015. That flight, they had some of the worst rice I've ever had before.

Looks a little "cold" probably due to lighting but looks a hearty meal nonetheless, Noms-UP^ XD

I still don't get why airlines are so insistent on having rice in their meals since it's notoriously hard to precook and reheat without overcooking and there are so many other easier options but it doesn't look too bad for airline food, despite the overload of carbs.
