A (maybe) simple question

Don't afraid to blacklisted that much. Some people blacklist just because you say you don't like X genre.

I probably have several blacklists and all of them because of their asshole behavior.

Don't worry too much about that list. It works both ways and actually helps to keep you away from those :P

Well, why not? I have about three times as many people blacklisted, as I have whitelisted.
I admit, it's far more difficult to impress me, while one really bad comment is often enough to trigger "the bad apples button". ;)

The way you worded the question, I'm a bit surprised how many people voted No.

Assuming that most people have principles, it's very likely that they would sooner or later blacklist someone based on their own principles. Therefore, they would also sooner or later hit 300 blacklists. You never specified any timeframe. I believe I have not blacklisted anyone at the moment, but I still voted Yes because it's theoretically possible that I'll encounter 300+ assholes at some point, which already justifies that answer. In other words: I would blacklist ANY number of people on principle, including the number 300. Therefore, voting no would indicate that you have very few or no principles 😋

Different users have different opinions on blacklists, their place and usage, and they vary quite a lot. There is no "wrong" way to use it, nor a "right" one.

It's just another feature on this site but it feels more controversial than others. Perhaps due to the name itself, perhaps not.
I don't know, but judging by the recurrence of topic on discussions it's likely that either something can be done to improve the name, the tool itself, or the description of which.

You just don't see that with any other feature or mechanic.

No, i got only two users on my blacklists, one scammed me on a trade and other one blacklisted me for unknown reason. Frankly i find whole blacklisting really tiresome, i don't getting wind up about discussion posts and stopped caring about other people leeching of this site long time ago since its all about luck anyway. I know some people have real system about blacklisting but i find it boring as hell.

I don't like to blacklist people but I understand why some users do it. I had a very rough start when I started being active again on SG, I had to chase 2 winners to give them there games, I even had to rerol 1 of them.
But I had to blacklist a user who won one of my giveaways, and took the key and saying is not working which was wierd since the key should had worked, since was brought very recently from Fanatical.
He agreed to delete the Ga but only after I gaved him another game, he was a very shady user who I think he deserves this spot.
