I'd say the universe has as much balance as a juggler during an earthquake.

There was a stray cat i was feeding for few months ... i cant take it home cause pets are not allowed and my roommate is allergic to any form of animal it seems .
She suddenly disappeared when it started snowing and i havent seen the poor thing since :/
I still kinda regret not taking it home anyway tbh ;| it was a super friendly for a stray , and it always seem to share its food with others .
I usually got a big can (~800g to 1kg) of cat food , and lay it over a plastic sheet ... there ware like 6 cats there , but only Ruffless was brave enough to come and eat when i was there ... and eventually even let me pet him(her ?) but he always just ate a bit and then came to cuddle for few minutes while the other cats took turns eating ... after he was done he just went off doing stray cat things i guess .
Funny how every time there seemed to be food for all of them ..
So bump for helping those in need ... and you gave an idea for an event thing i may host in few days :)

Today:
Which made finding the stray tomcat I occasionally feed and take care of, at my back patio door with most of one of his front legs missing, all the more stressful. Most of the back of the leg is gone, and the remainder is swollen to 3 times the normal size and seems to have no sensitivity to it- from what I can see, that's in part due to nerves being severed at the upper leg, and in part due to blood having pooled without any flowing back up. Animal control arrived a moment ago and agreed it was almost certain he'd lose the leg. :X
In any case, I finally found my phone and got my internet fixed [self-evidently], and logged on to find myself having won the Endless Dungeon Collection. The universe remains endlessly perverse in its sense of balance.
Please, no empty commiseration- the cat can't read it, and I can't appreciate it.
Just cringe with me, so I can be grateful for the company.
Or if you're motivated enough, please take today as an excuse to donate to an animal shelter or charity.
Buy a humble bundle and put 100% to an appropriate charity, find a site where you simply have to click on an image to support a charity, or so forth- you don't have to go out of your way for it, just please take an extra moment to consider those who are injured and can't take care of themselves, as you go about your normal habits these next couple of days.
