I am thinking about upgrading my PC, and i want to know what is holding me back
specs: ASUS M70AD

Windows 8.1
I5 4770K 3.1Ghz quad core
NVIDIA Geforce GT 640 4G VRAM
8G RAM DDR3
1TB
Built in UPS

The graphic card is kinda low, get something higher maybe 780? Other than that, its fine, 3.1 GHz is good. 8 GB of RAM is enough. Just the GPU

I think you bought an already made "Gaming" PC from some brand no? since they're likely to put bad GPUs with useless 4Gb of vRAM making ppl think that 4Gb is super awesome, buying a new GPU is depending on your money, you CPU will handle every card.

Yea it is pretty much the graphics card. But also dont forget a nice moniter :D
