Steam Key works on steam if bought on Amazon?

Search this forum. Maybe they work or maybe not..like for example region locked keys (DI).

Most games should work, but wait for someone who's sure to answer.

Most of them will. Some people say Dead island will not, but I have it and it works ok, so... yeah.

If you buy it on Amazon of your region, then it should work. Otherwise, why would they sell the game there?

i bought Mount and Blade Warband and it worked fine from amazon! so trust them.

if you bought it from Amazon.com then it'll work everywhere i suppose.

Make sure the game are not regional locked. Otherwise their keys even works in Sri Lanka :D Close to you :P.

I bought a lot of games on Amazon, and they all work perfectly.

Their region lock mostly means that you can't buy games if you're not American citizen, ie. you must have U.S. adress if you want to buy the game.
The key itself should work anywhere.

Not every game on Amazon works on Steam.

For example, Arma 2: Combined Assault was recently on sale on Amazon. It did not activate on Steam.

if DRM is steam, it sure works.

The best answer is, it depends on the game. Some games, Dead Island for instance, has region locks. Usually you're fine, but not always.

All Steam keys purchased on Amazon work on Steam. It doesn't matter where the key was purchased from.

If you are asking will the keys you get from Amazon work with steam. It will if it says steam in the requirement. If you are asking if a game is region locked, can you play it in steam if you buy from amazon, then yes you can.

you need to read in the Product Description "STEAM Client required to activate."
