So, i spent almost 3-4 hours in the past few days instaling, patching, deleting and installing again Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. Game is laggy, audio/video is out of sync and cutscenes are freezing every few seconds.

Btw i used latest unofficial patch for VtMB and after i downloaded the game on steam i disabled the Steam community in-game in options and disabled automatic updates for VtMB (advice that i picked up on some forum) and every time i leave the game Steam reverts the option (as seen here)

Any advices my fellow steamgifts comrades, will i ever manage to get this game to properly work for me?

Can't imagine it's your GPU unless you have an ancient computer. It runs perfectly on my old laptop (ATI radeon X1400).

That is pretty old, though you actually do meet the minimum requirements (processor is above, 512 RAM is the recommended amount, and graphics card is the very basic type needed. CHances are it's the fact it is intergrated that's killing ya though, intergrated GPUs are pretty unreliable. Have you updated drivers and whatnot? Your steam profile shows you play Killing Floor, Half Life 2, etc. All Source games, which Vampire is, and Vampire is also one of the oldest/lowest requirements. So I gotta imagine there's something you could do to get it going. But yes, you are in pretty bad need of an upgrade.

I think my integrated card is the main probblem here. I guess it has some sort of conflict with VtMB (maybe VtMB doesn't like integrsted GPU's). Other games with similar requirements work just fine (KF, Half Life 2 series etc)
