PSA: BundleCult is a Scam

Our project invistigate this problem.
What do we have now is:

• part of developers didnt send any keys to BundleCult;
• part of developers didnt receive money for their keys from BundleCult;
• BundleCult was previously known as Select-n-play and they stole a lot of steam keys from developers without giving back money;
• some of steam keys from Select-n-play are now given to BundleCult customers to show that their a not scam, but they are totally SCAM!;
• developers and customers dont recieve any answers on email from BundleCult owner.

Please spread the word. Indie-community is too close and this person should be destroyed. Give this information to developers, and bundle-customers.

Dont buy at BundleCult anything! Dont support scam and crime!

Yeah, I saw this site and quickly didn't like the look of them. Thanks for some more information on all this. Goes to show I was right to be so cautious.

Great idea for a business opportunity. Advertise a bunch of hot AAA games, "Now DRM-Free!".
Sell people cheap bundles of them for a few dollars.
Provide direct d/l links (you now because drm-free) to cracked games.

C'mon take the money and run... Woo woo woo...

I hope that scam will not put the negative shadow on all bundle sites and new bundle projects.

OP has been updated with comments from the developers of the games being illegally bundled.

I like how they treated Questrun, those developers are the most un-interested i have ever saw, they replied on everything on forums though, but every new feature has been declined.
They are money gathers with love for the community

So at least all the keys for QuestRun, and maybe Orborun, will be revoked. Hopefully other devs follow suit.

Reminds me of Gatt (Gaming all the time) and their "Indie Facekick Bundles".

We bundled our games with them (Hacker Evolution, etc) and they never paid us.

Is it literally a cult?

Supposedly some devs are being paid now, but imo that doesn't excuse the numerous bundles he's made in the past where he didn't pay devs. i.e. Paying $10 out of a $10,000 debt doesn't excuse you in the slightest.

I've emailed some of the previous devs/publishers from MacBundler bundles to see if they've been paid anything and if the answer is no then it will stay a PSA that BundleCult is a scam.

I bought this bundle 6 years ago and just got a note today from Steam that one item was revoked from my account... SIX YEARS LATER? IIRC some of the devs gave out keys to the people who got scammed to help them out as a nice gesture. I didn't think a game could be removed so many years later.
