hi, i was wondering if it is a breach of steam's terms of service if you give someone money via paypal or webmoney for a game in their inventory? i cant afford to have my account locked out from doing this so i've avoided it. does anyone have any information on this?

Steam Trading Policy
Other than that, it's up to you. They will not be able to help you if you get scammed by trading for things outside the trade window.

ah thank you! it says in their not to trade anything for money. i'd rather play it safe than lose thousands of dollars worth of games
