http://www.indiekings.com/p/bundle-tracker.html just look at them here.

Not to be that idiot but once you start buying games in bundles and on other sites you won't go back to the Steam Store. I'd suggest bookmarking the bundle-sites that people have posted here and also http://isthereanydeal.com/ , http://www.cheapshark.com/ and http://www.reddit.com/r/gamedeals . There's more sites, I'm sure but you'll be set with these as well.
So the tl;dr would be, if you're looking to buy more games in the future try to get a discounted deal or a bundle instead and you'll save a lot of whatever currency you're using! ;)

Just know that once you start buying bundles outside of Humble the devs can literally get paid a few pennies for their game if people shaft them. Anything with a $1 gets everything price will mean that each game in that bundle is going to receive about 5-15 cents if you only pay the $1 minimum.

Although I know what you mean, I don't see anything wrong with buying a bundle that cheap as an impulse buy if it consists of games you'd never have purchased otherwise. Collecting 10 cents from each of 30,000 people who would never have even looked at their game otherwise can add up to a few thousand dollars -- not exactly a huge amount, but better than earning nothing from those people. It can also build word-of-mouth, and many of the games in those one-dollar bundles get bundled repeatedly, earning about that much every time.
Spending the minimum on a bundle might be stingy, but it's obviously better than bypassing the bundle entirely. This is part of the logic behind 'pay what you want' in general -- the idea is to profit off the 'long tail' of people who would never normally buy your game, while also raising word-of-mouth in the hopes of eventually selling it to others at full price.
(Putting aside spending one cent on Humble bundles -- at that point I assume they're literally not covering costs. But you don't get Steam keys for that anymore anyway.)

Well this is the age old debate of pirating. Are you actually removing potential income or wouldn't these people even purchase your products so you actually win on the whole.
Most of the bundle games people would not probably even buy. Besides a lot of the developers use bundles just as much for advertisement as they use to get a little extra cash.
To have a bigger playerbase makes that a bigger percentage will like the game and might recommend friends (more-so if a good multiplayer) or buy the sequel (some devs give you games just before a release of a sequel).

And, since you're just getting into this, I can't suggest installing Enhanced Steam enough. Its a wonderful add-on. At a glance, it'll tell you the lowest price the game has ever been, where its currently the cheapest, how many times its been in a bundle, and if its currently in a bundle, it'll tell you which one and link to it.
As for the debate about only buying bundles for $1, a huge chunk of my Steam library is from bundle filler. If I hadn't bought those games in a bundle, its unlikely I would've purchased them at all, and I certainly wouldn't have heard of most of them. But, they got a little bit of coin from me and helped me discover a lot more games in the process. Everyone wins!

I agree.
Nobody said IsThereAnyDeal.com, so I'll post it :)

Enhanced Steam links to them, so I didn't mention it, but that's a great site if you want the raw data. Its also fantastic for adding your wishlist and getting emailed about Wishlist games being on sale (for Steam keys outside of the Steam Store).

A bundle is a good way to discover indie games you may not have heard of.
On humble bundle, it is a good way to support charities and indie devs. It is also one of the few places where you can get drm-free copies of games in the lower tier for .01.

I know the feeling.
I created my steam account back then for the distrubution of the counter-strike beta.
Used it a few years later for some day of defeat source and put it away again for another few years.
As I finally started using it for other games about 10 month ago I had just 5 games and all Valve games.
Only bought retail games for about the first month and only willing to use the steamstore for about 2 month after that.
Finally had broken into 10+ games and then I decided to "what the hell...I'm making a paypal account now and start using the bundle sites!"
Now I have about 160 games in my account and a backlog of about 140 :D
Damn you bundle sites :D

Specifically where to find them. I see people talking about Humble Bundles and Indie Bundles. Now, don't get me wrong, I've googled them and I see tons of sites, I just don't know which ones are reputable.
Sorry, it's just I've never purchased a PC game outside of Steam. Don't let the 7 years on the steam account fool you, that account was made so I could game with a now ex years ago and I've just recently started playing again.
Thanks in advance!
