I think the HH bundle is one you have to buy. Last years was amazing. And for some reason I feel better to give a few homeless persons a meal instead of donating to charity.

Just nicpicking, but funding meals is the very same, charity :)

It's tempting, especially since I won't be getting the the latest Humble Bundle & Bundle Stars, but I'll wait for moar hints/confirmed games.

Depends on what your criteria for "good" is.

Well in this particular case, I'd be happy with 2 games that seems interesting to me. Games that are finished (meaning no Greenlight nor EA) and don't look half-arsed would be a good start.

2 games that seems interesting to me

Case in point. People's definition of "interesting" is broad.

Got 4 Steam and 3 Greenlight so far. Contents subject to change.

Tru dat. And so are my tastes, usually. :o/ I love RPGs, point & click, open world, horror games... Funny games are great too. I'm also very partial to cat games (Shelter 2 would be amazing) I said I didn't like EA, but Shark Attack Deathmatch 2 looks fine in my books...

Can't you share some hints on a particular game(or two)? Or maybe just drop one confirmed game? ;)

preorder and get the whole bundle for the cost during the preorder period.

Once the bundle goes live, there may be tiers, or alternatively, there is a set price for the bundle after it goes live, which is usually 2x the preorder cost.

lol that's the spirit of many of us when we preorder groupees bundles.

I would suggest you wait for hints first to see if you like the bundle. SG people are highly intelligent folks and very good at guessing the bundle contents.

If this is a build-a-bundle, then you pay more for more. How can it be preordered, I wonder? :-/

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

no. previous BABs have been $1 or $2 for the whole thing during preorder, and after preorder you pay 0.50$ per game of your choice, so it depends. when it goes live, it might be min of $1 or $2 for two games of your choice or something, and adding more games will bump up the cost.

So it means if I preorder, I will get the minimum tier lower, right? For example, normal bundle costs $3 for 4 games, and $0.5 for each additional game, and preorder cost $1 for that same 4 games, and adding more still costs $0.5/game? Sorry but I have never preordered a BAB before.

If you preorder you get the whole bundle.

Build a Bundles do not have tiers, they do have a minimum purchase though.
So, say the bundle has 10 games at $0.50 a piece and the bundle has a minimum purchase of 3 games. You can buy any of those 10 games for $1.50, or all the games for $5.

Definite pre-order. Games never bundled before AND every dollar = a meal for the needy? Sign me up.

HH 1 was good, especially for a groupees bundle.

On the fence about pre-ordering though - I've got a fair few groupees coins which I might use once it goes live.

Gahhhh, I've never been a big fan of Groupee's, but it's for a good cause.

Who am I kidding? I'll probably buy it. -_-

"What does good mean?"

The word itself has at least three (or four) distinct definitions, depending on whether you are referring to its use as an adjective, an adverb, or a noun. As an adjective, "good" means something that is desired, as in, "We are good friends," or "SteamGifts is a good website." As an adverb, its use is more informal (a grammatical prescriptivist might go so far as to say its use as an adverb is improper), and is used as a substitute for the word "well", as in, "I could never pole vault as good as that." And as a noun, "good" is either defined as that which is righteous, as in, "An epic battle between good and evil," or it is defined as a benefit or advantage, as in, "She wanted to make contributions for the good of all mankind."

So the meaning of "good" can be quite varied, depending on its intended usage. What does, "What does good mean," mean? Are you asking, "What does it mean when something is considered to be 'good'?" or are you asking "What does it mean to do 'good'?"

4 games not bundled before means I have a fairly good chance of atleast 2 games that I don't already own, good odds for me, preorder for sure. May even pick up a few of the bundles since they are for feeding needy people..

Also whats wrong with groupees bundles, most of their main bundles like Be mine and build a bundle are typically really good. Not on the same level as say Humble but certainly not on the same level as DIG..

Past Groupees HH bundle was pretty good, I even bought 2...

But then, they used to do somewhat decent bundles, before their bundle preorders and hints gimmicks existed only to hype and end in disappointment.

Less than 10 minutes as of this posting until preorders. And a little something special this time. Not the same as your regular special.

Edit: preorders open!

Agreed, it being a holiday thing and making such a big deal out of the charity aspect it feels a bit off. Still I felt bad enough to donate directly so I guess they're up on the deal.
