I can't remember the last time I looked through the public giveaways section, so there's no need for me to filter anything lol.

Probably a noob question but how does one block a game ? I thought there is no such feature (except the games we already own).

All I know is that on the mobile app I have 1586 excluded games. Would be more than that on the site, but it got cleared recently.

None, I just don't allow the games I already own to show up.
