Labyrinth is one of those movies that so many people talk about but I've never gotten around to watching it...

And now I'm going to have a visit from Bowie in my dreams again. Thanks for that. He's been gone too long.

Oh boy... I remember watching this film as a 3-5 years old (dont know the exact time) child in the early 90's, in TV. Thinking about it, this is one of my earliest memories. Huh.
My mother insisted on watching this together as it was supposedly "a great tale", but I only remember snipets of imagery that to my child self were very weird and sometimes even frightening. I did not like or even understand it at the time and felt kind of traumatized by it. xD The puppets felt uncanny and the only thing I can remember from the story is the girl searching for his little brother while a weird looking man (as it turns out, David Bowie) appeared from time to time.
... Woah, wait! Hold up, HOLD UP!!!
Man, I just had a revelation! The girl, the protagonist! Watching a few clips from youtube, to freshen up my knowledge, I just realized that...
She is the same girl from this clip that I recently got addicted to:
Sunset
The close-ups of her face from the movie made me realize this and a quick google search confirmed my suspicion.
While I am a big sucker for retro-esque music of this style to begin with, I was downright stunned by her beauty, so she got etched into my memory.
Wow, its really a small world, is not it? :D

Eh rip Bowie. I'm not a huge fan of his music, but really like some of his work and respect him as an artist and a person. Never seen Labyrinth tho. Plan to watch it some day.
