I almost fell for him. When I last checked, his alt account had 251 CS:GO and 49 TF 2 keys. And some nice skins, which worth 10 or 20 more keys. I almost sent him 10 TF 2 keys, but I had a bad feeling about him, something like a premonition, and instead discussed with my high repped trader friends. One of them was able to get me a legit code for 12 TF 2 keys, so I'm glad that I took his offer, and he provided it immediately, and that's where the guy became suspicious. If he had the vouchers, he could provide them immediately, but if he didn't have them, why was he taking "reservations"? Also he didn't have the game on any of his accounts.
BTW isn't this considered as calling out? I'm very cautious on SG not to break any rules, so this is just a warning, that it might break rules.
On the other hand: You don't have to worry about him. Got a trade ban on his acc, where he was storing the keys, and all of his accounts has been perma-banned from SG.
Looks like he wanted to beat the Never Alone guy, but at least he provided keys, before revoking them.

Yup, that's why I'm a bit surprised so many fell for it just because he had high rep. His "reservations" were just so he could steal as much as possible. Also, yes this is indeed calling out so OP might want to remove the link. And I don't worry about trading anyway since I don't trade (besides a bundle split every now and then, but that usually costs me less than a dollar anyway) - buuuut, I suppose it's a good thing he didn't get any real benefit from this either because of the trade ban.

I assume this had a link here, thank you for removing it.
This is the third thread about, what I assume is, the same issue and I will be closing this, as well, since it might derail to calling out as previous threads did and users who are not related might get in trouble.
If you do have a suggestion on things that could prevent what happened (though everything about this particular case happened in about an hour, so I am not sure what else could be done to prevent things on the site's side), you are welcome to submit a support ticket so we can review it.

Folks, with the advent of one the scams of the year on ST:
Link removed as per forum rules:(
Would it be the time to discuss how the trade section is moderated? I don't have an answer on how we could of mitigated the above, but i think something may of been done to prevent it getting as bad as it has. As a long time member, I would loathe to see fellow traders abandon the trade section.
