Well, you could get it for 50% off with coupons during the whole x-mas event if I recall correctly, not sure other than that though.

Just wait till a Summer/Winter sale. I think I saw it once in a daily deal, but not too certain. All I know is that it IS on sale during the Summer and Winter sales.

Or if you like TF2 so much, try trading your way up through TF2 items to try to eventually trade for the game.

I bought it in the last winter sale. It was on sale, can't remember how much though.

Make fifty other Steam accounts and farm items in all of those every single day. Sell acquired items for more than they're worth. A couple months later you'll probably have acquired about $400 worth in virtual gear and videogames. Start an item monopoly. Become the most powerful negotiator in all land. Assume a political career in Angola.

And to think TF2 once was a game about shooting people and capturing control points.

I traded for it during this last holiday sale, pretty sure it was 33% off.

Also, as it's been on sale on the last three big sales, I should think it's likely it will be on sale in summer, too.
