Well, since I've had the game for a while anyway, and my RL friend is going to get his own key, I'm going to let some random ninja have it.

It shows a "linked to <myaccountname>" - can I still create a GA here (I know that it will give no CV), or does it only work in my own account?

So that's why there is like half a page of new giveaways for this game. Thanks!

Quick question regarding the free humble offers. I think i have read once, that the keys themselves don't actually have a time restriction, so if you reveal the key, it should stay ok even after the actual GA on humble has ended.
Is this (still) the case?

Before that there was Civ III, Outlast, Oddworld, Psychonauts, Monaco, Shadow Warrior, Killing Floor... HB treats us pretty well, yeah.

I actually really enjoyed this game (on console). The game seems to get a lot of undeserved negativity from X-Com fans that say it doesn't fit with the rest of the franchise. They may or may not be right, I wouldn't know since I never played any other X-Com game. But if you play it as not an X-Com game it's quite enjoyable so thanks.

As loose as the continuity between XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within and XCOM 2 is, you can actually quite easily weave the plot of The Bureau into the mix as a prequel.
After the events of The Bureau, Faulke keeps the Outsider tech, goes rogue and forms Exalt. That covers the source of their technology as well as their dress when they show up in Enemy Within.
Meanwhile, Asaru, the blue Ethereal from The Bureau, bonds with the Commander, aka. you for the final mission of XCOM 2. He's the Ethereal that flashes by in the starting cinematic, and he helps you out in the ending cutscene - hence the bright blue aura when your Avatar faces off against the other Ethereals.

Randomly went to HB and just saw that X-Com the Bureau is free for the next 48 hours.
So get yours while you can and enjoy.
