Regardless of how good the ps4 architecture it still not more powerful than the best pc, it just allows the ps4 to get more power and optimization out of lower end parts better than a pc would.
I don't see that as an excuse to not bring the new engine to PC players, we all know that ignite it is not going to push the limits of pc gamers hardware. Other studios are getting the next-genengines to run just fine.

My PC is a Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz, 4Gb RAM, ATI HD5770 1Gb GDDR5, 820Gb total between disks and it can run Crysis 3, don't tell me a f*cking sports game won't run in this 2007 PC so yeah, most people can run it fine.

Not surprised. It also took them forever to start using their latest engine for the PC versions.

True, the only EA franchises I currenttly care about are Battlefield and Fifa.
Dragon Age and Mass Effect got ruined by Bioware, Crysis has become a series of interactive tech demos, I never cared for Dead Space to begin with, Need for Speed has just been average lately, Burnout is pretty much dead, Medal of Honor? lol, Sim's and Sim City milked to death with dlc, Command & Conquer is not only now Pay 2 win but was caught stealing assets from The Warhammer series....
I need to stop myself I could go on all day.

Well first off, who really gives a shit about sports games on PC. I mean, really.
Second, it's EA. There is no reason to care about EA anymore. They killed Bioware, they're over-milking Dice, they bungled Simcity and Deadspace, etc. They're anti-consumer pricks, and idiotic ones at that.

EA being retarded as always. Still, they never stop amusing me with their absurd statements. No way CableBox and PS4 are ahead of the best PCs - hell, I bet most of today's PCs are at least equal in power. It's obvious that both this and the engine exclusives are just marketing crap to make people buy them.

Another "PCs can't handle this" crap from publishers :)))
At least they should have guts and admit they're doing this because they're in partnership with MS & Sony to boost next gen console sales.
No one's gonna be that mad about this.

I havent bought it in a few years which is why I was excited to play it this year. I cant talk for the other EA sports franchises because I dont play them but in terms of Fifa most of the time the updates are more substantial than that, apart from the usual addition of new modes and features they upgrade the physics and AI systems which may seem small but in a sports simulation game, animations and physics as well and the games ability to replicate authentic decison making and player behaviour make a huge difference.
Of course to the outside it looks the same each year but what do you expect this years game to have flying dragons? The changes are under the surface. This will probably be the first and last time I defend EA in any way, it is a simulation based on a real life sport, the most that they can do is make the game as realistic as possible without taking away the fun factor.
They do though have a major problem with their servers and matchmaking system though, it is pretty damn bad for a franchise that big.

So yeah, I will be buying pro evolution soccer this year... clicky
Also Xbox One and PS4 are a generation ahead of the best PC says EA CTO
Looks like PC users get shafted by EA once again.
