[Free Loot] MTG Arena codes! New codes: COURIERBAT !

Hello! Are there any MTG Arena players here?
I know that there are different loot codes for the game, so I decided to create a theme so that everyone can share them.
You can redeem codes directly in the game or on ( myaccounts.wizards.com/code )

Yup, been playing it since before it went public. <3 the game. I'm pretty old school when comes to MTG, started playing in revised(real cards) until the Kamigawa block then took a long break. I played Magic Duels for a bit on Steam as well.

have you played Shandalar? (microprose game)
Still the best computer game of MTG i've ever found. The latest mod allows for about 1/3rd to half of all cards ever created to be in-game

Forge is also a pretty good implementation

I don't recall. I remember the modder got chased away by some asshat know-it-all spaz, and development stopped at that point.

The Magic the Gathering game from 1997 is also known online as Shandalar, and people have been modding it and improving it since to both make it better and make it playable on modern systems.

there's a more recent version of Manalink, which is the deck building and gameplay engine (i.e. without the adventure attached)

You said this version doesn't have the adventure portion of the original game? What does it have then? All the different versions are really confusing for me.

no, you can play the AI as well.
You just don't get to walk around the map.

For some reason Shandalar rings a bell.. but no I don't think I've ever played it before.

Shandalar was great.
Also started playing in the 90s with physical cards. Later played Shandalar and Duels. Reentered with MTGA, but thankfully pulled out of that addiction after 1,5 years, but would happily jump right back into it if there was a modern remake of Shandalar. :)

I started playing when The Dark was winding down, just before Fallen Empires was released. Stopped when Ice Age came out.

If I still had some of the cards I had back then, it'd be worth a pretty penny.

I'm not oldskool. I just started playing magic around Tempest/4th edition, when I found out about Shandalar...

Shandalar was pretty cool, but full of bugs... Is there a successor? Spiritual or otherwise?

there are mods for it. If you don't care about the interface, Forge contains 99% of all cards ever, and has 'adventures' for several blocks.

Forge has all sets through Magic 21, but doesn’t yet have Ikoria

The website also has the latest public mods to shandalar. Unfortunately that effort is effectively dead.

FYI that game was heavily modded a few years ago. Depending on which version, you can use about a third to half of all the cards ever created

I do not quite understand what you mean. If you ask if they work on the version that is distributed through the Epic Store, then my answer is yes. If you activate them in the Epic Store itself, I think that does not work, since they are activated in the game itself.

Yes they will work no matter which of the two clients you use as it's entered in the game itself.

The current Diamond Quest on Lootboy is a Magic Arena quest that gives you the summer knights deck.

Essentially it's free: just make an account on lootboy, click on the button on the top right and redeem the code "Welcome500". Now go to the diamonds section, click the first diamonds quest lootpack for 499 gold (you should see something about magic arena when you click on it), click on "Get Now", and profit.

These are in the normal "lootpool", the one you redeemed was from the "weekly diamond quest" pack, the rest from redeeming diamonds, (got 2 in my last redeem), rekon you should start seeing them more frequent soon.

4 outa 5 confirmed non bot bots, a very good outcome :) and while i am positive more Summer Knights codes will become available,
