I've only seen one of my friends actually get a knife from a case, and that was like after a billion keys. I just opened 4 cases and got 1 item worth 2 dollars and 3 worth 15 cents, should have kept the keys lol.

Why is it that knives are so fucking expensive and everybody wants them? Isn't CS:GO a competitive shooter in which knives are pretty much useless?

I'm a girl myself, so I don't want no girlfriend, but apart from that I think I get what you mean. they aren't good for anything, they are just rare, hence expensive, and people want them to show off? But where do they show them off?

Show them off by playing, once you kill an enemy it shows on their screen who killed them and with what weapon (and if the user has a skin on the weapon it will also show up).
Skins are just for swag and profit.

Also it does not matter how cool your knife looks,it does not kill anything any better..and actually in real life a dull knife would actually do more internal damage then a sharp one.

Yes, skins are useless and they don't add any kind of stats to the weapon.
In my case, and I'm sure many can relate, I want them because through trading I'm able to buy any game that I want without spending my own money.

Excuse me if I sounded harsh to you, it was not meant like that in any way. I just did not understand your response. Had no idea knives are skins.

because they are great to look at, as well as the skins in the game are awesome to look at. its not all shooting its a lot of standing around and waiting and when you die you watch someone and they are looking at their stuff and you are just like damn that's some nice shit you got there. Then you want some nice shit for yourself. That's how I feel anyways.
