And I don't know anything on OOP and MVC am just starting to get serious on my subject I'm on 3rd year college. GOOD LUCK FOR BOTH OF US HOPE WE LEARN IT VERY WELL. haha xD but I'm sure of it I learn on internet just surfing on it.

oop and mvc are both fairly broad topics, but if you come up with more focused questions stackexchange and stackoverflow have good answers (i've almost always found my questions already asked and answered). avoid w3schools even though they often show up first in the google results; they often recommend poor practice and have outdated information.

well, VB is a really bad choice for learning to code, especially object orientation.
event though i personally do not like java, i think its not a bad choice for learning to code. and its way more widely used as VB.
VB is nice for little scripts to enchance word and excel, but not for serious software development, since it has serious weaknesses
