I believe it was removed to help reduce load in the servers / all the bugs the site was having (which seem to be sorted now touchwood.)

I don't have an average of one win for every 38 entries. Does that make it more valid if I'm the one who tells him the question is pointless? Not only that, but any answer to the exact question posed in the OP will be useless because winning is totally random.
A much better question to ask would be "What can I do to increase the likelihood of winning a giveaway?" Then we can point you toward one of the various guides written in answer to that very question. (Or you could look them up, yourself.)

Don't take it personally. It's simply that people get annoyed by seeing the same question asked thousands of times, especially when the answer is in the FAQ you're supposed to read when you join the site. In fact, we've had this question asked four times in the past two days.

I made one of these threads where I asked something like "How long does it take the average person to win his or her first giveaway" and got flamed for it. It seemed an unreasonable response to what I thought it was a reasonable question, just like with this OP.

Unlike most of the threads of this type which are direct obvious trolling with ppl saying they never win yet have over 50+ wins or more etc. I'm nearing the 500 entry mark and have not one once yet. How long did it take all of you to win that first entry ?
