It's sold out everywhere.

People overpay it already for 200€ and more.
Normally it's 399€ but people already pay 600€ just to get it now and don't have to wait 2 more months. lol
I don't want a console ever again, If you have good gaming rig and a steam account you have all what you need. :)

There is but the price in stores is 870 euros or 1100$. And those probably are sold too lol So we lithuanians usually buy our stuff from other countries like UK.

Wait for them to release the slim one. Right now, it's riddled with bugs.

Isn't fixing bugs what system updates are for? Hardware problems are the real problem and the Ps4 has a very low chance of having one

Well that's the idea. Wait for them to riddle out the bugs with updates. Also, the newer versions have better hardware.

Well not everyone runs into problems but I heard many people are frustrated because of them. It is understandable though. Everything has bugs on release.

As someone who has been the victim of first gen consoles, agreed.

Isn't it common sense that you should never buy the first generation of ANY hardware? I think at most you're a victim of your own stupidity, Hilldog. :P

I think its a sign of the times anyways, I have a launch Snes that works, I have a launch Wii that artifacts and to be honest I did not play it near enough for that to happen if it was built right.

As time goes by, they make stuff with lower quality so they can sell more. You take anything sold 10 years ago and compare to the same thing sold now, the quality difference in some case is huge. Chances are the 10 year old item works just fine but the new one will need replacement in a year or two.

TL;DR Things are getting more commercial.
