Puzzle Lovers is a group all about puzzle games

Puzzle Lovers is a small, but continuously growing group dedicated to puzzle games and games with puzzles. Now that we have more than 4200 members, we have plans for more group-only events and giveaways, while also including (and potentially recruiting) non-members. Everybody's welcome to join by visiting the group page and clicking the green Join group button in the top right corner. If you're a game developer, publisher or just an interested player, you might want to check out our Basic Functionality and Accessibility Guide.

Friendly discussions on the forum

  • New to the group? Introduce yourself!
  • Tell us what you've been playing, puzzler or otherwise.
  • Open a thread for your favorite puzzle game.
  • Ask for help if you get stuck.
  • Post your puzzle-related creations in the Community Corner.
  • Developers and publishers are also welcome to introduce their puzzle games to our community to facilitate discussion and gather feedback.

Giveaways

We have giveaways every week via SteamGifts (some are open, some only for group members) and special giveaway events during major Steam sales, the group's birthday, or whenever we feel like it (e.g. 'Advent in Advance', an annual, month-long chain of daily giveaways in October). Details and links are in the current issue of the newsletter.

Ok i'll give it another bump, as they are doing the usual daily recommendations for puzzle games by style/genre this time, my wishlist is swelling more than my wallet unfortunately

like everybody else, I totally forgot about these topics and not gonna bother much going forward either, but brainrack #250 is out now with the usual 2 weekly giveaways. it's a momentous occasion, 250 issues of a weekly newsletter, and for more than a day steam didn't show announcements in the activity feed, so I could only post it now instead of the usual time.

and while I'm here, we've also just hit 4200 group members.

a couple weeks ago I put out a [url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/puzzlelovers/discussions/0/7340374196882201829/]basic functionality and accessibility guide[/url] on the group's forum. it's not only for developers and not only for puzzle/adventure games (even though that's the focus) and it just got updated with about 40 new items based mostly on feedback I didn't expect (I mean people getting involved, missing stuff for sure).

it's an ongoing project but unlikely to get a lot of attention, updates or further feedback, but it might raise some awareness among devs and players and maybe some games will eventually work better, even though with a bit of common sense 95% of the stuff in the guide should go without saying. if you know someone who might be interested, send them the link. thanks!
