Everybody's welcome to join by visiting the group page and clicking the green Join group button in the top right corner. If you're a game developer, publisher or just an interested player, you might want to check out our Basic Functionality and Accessibility Guide.

Details and links are in the current issue of the newsletter.

Thanks for your attention, hope to see you in the group soon, and tell your friends!

Hey,

Recruitment topic should not be bumped with information there is new giveaway in the group. It's the community who should bump the thread every now and then if they want to interact with it. And no one posted here to apply few months now. Don't bump it with info about new newsletter as well.

If you want to promote group via giveaways or newsletter then it should be listed in OP post. And if people want to enter group they will find it in Group Recruitment. You can ask users to bump the topic after they join GA or group.

Also can you please remove mention about curator? It's not allowed to promote curators in the Group Recruitment.

another moderator okayed the current original post and noboby mentioned any of these bump rules(?) in the last couple of years, but you always seem to find something. so I removed that one word from the op.

You know I don't think I have ever managed to fully read one of the Brainrack newsletters in one sitting, I always follow the game links/reviews and forget to come back and keep reading, I even ended up buying "How to bathe your cat: Impossible mission" this week.

at least you're reading some of it, that's more than most people do. also, if you keep finding things you're interested in, it's working. what I do is open stuff with the middle mouse button, so as not to lose my place on the original page, except the steam client is pretty inconsistent and it doesn't work everywhere.

Ok and while I am here, I'll ask this question as a group member may be able to help

How do i find "Bundles" on steam

for instance i like puzzle/logic games (probably why I joined this group :) ) and sometimes when you are looking at a game on steam you'll see an offer of it included with a bundle of 4 or 5 different games which has an additional discount on top, but i have never found a satisfactory way to find these bundles using steams search, short of checking every game on my wishlist

I know i am not explaining well

so for instance if you look at the game (Lighton Duo)[https://store.steampowered.com/app/1566250/Lighton_Duo/], you'll see there are 2 bundles offered with an additional discount

Find a way bundle &
Puzzles and lights

basically what I am asking is
If there someway to find if my steam game is included in a steam bundle on steam

I don't know if this helps, but you can search for the bundle name here. https://steamdb.info/search/?a=bundle&q=puzzle
You can also search for a specific app/game and find packages/bundles here. https://steamdb.info/app/1566250/subs/

Cheers it does help a bit, unfortunately it does return lots of deleted bundles or ones i can't access Geo locked?, it seems odd there isn't a way to exclude those, but i did spend a while entering various puzzle game types into the search to find various bundles, definitely something i will keep an eye on.

can't help you with that, what I do is I just scroll down on the store page before buying something to see if there's a bundle available. it's not as tedious as it sounds, as there aren't that many games hitting a satisfactory price at the same time. steamdb is a great resource though, as linked below/above, too bad it doesn't recognize ignored devs even when logged in, only individually ignored titles.

yep thats pretty much what I do now, just thought there may be a simpler way, its a shame steam bundles aren't tracked as easily as 3rd party steam bundles through site like barter.vg and istad

I'll give this a bump, nice to see "Turn on all the lights" being the giveaway this week, and a review of the new "Turn on the lights carefully", that style of game is my favourite unwind de-stress game, makes me wish i had a windows tablet to sit outside and play them on.
And as usual my wishlist has increased
