This had me wondering, what if someone made a giveaway of a software like this?

Which giveaways? I have noticed several glitched giveaways like "The Whispered World special edition" which was a game for $15 but the giveaways were 100 points, because Steamgifts counted a 100$ bundle which was discounted cheaper than the game itself, I guess you mean those.

All the giveaways for Vegas Pro. It was price glitched and only Cost $1.45 from the Indonesian steam store. Any one of those giveaways, not to mention all the recent ones for other software would have answered your question.

So another Vegas Pro video editor was released a few days ago on Steam, costing a whopping 400€ (320€ on discount).
This had me wondering, what if someone made a giveaway of a software like this? It would probably cost 400 points to join, but the maximum one can have is 300, so what would happen? And then again, what has actually been the most expensive giveaway on Steamgifts so far? Can it even go higher than 100 points?
