I think that Blizzard only sells their latest titles directly, so they have a lock on prices. They did lower the price to 20$ during Thanksgiving week-end, so it might happen again during boxing week, but that won't be in time for Christmas.

Wait for expansion - price of base game will drop a little (and maybe some bigger sale will happen).
