if you still havent won a giveaway yet... you might only be entering big giveaways...
try entering giveaways that only have few entries in them. You're estimated win will increase and you'll be able to win something. Avoid those with entries above 1500 as much as possible.

Easy to get a bad ratio by just entering giveaways with 0.001% chance to win. There was actually a couple of people competing to see who could enter the most giveaways without winning back in the day. I think the record was 5000 entries before first win.

The sad thing is, nothing in the laws of probabilities say you will recover from now on in the number of wins.... It is pretty possible that you will stay "5 under par" for a looooong time. The number of wins will approach the estimated number of wins AS A PROPORTION, not as an absolute number.
But hang on there, statistics say that you WILL win. Well, eventually. With probability 1. Which does not mean "certainty". I digress.

Donning my Pernickity Hat of +2 pedantry, statistics don't actually say you WILL win. They just suggest that if you enter an infinite number of giveaways, the chances you will still keep on losing will become infinitesimally small (BUT CRUCIALLY, NOT ZERO!)
Statistics don't prove that if you toss an unbiased coin 2,000 times, it won't land on tails in every single instance. Obviously over the course of, say, 25 flips, there is next to no chance that this outcome will occur, but it is still not statistically impossible :D
If anything, statistics prove that just about everything is possible, albeit that many of these outcomes have a staggeringly miniscule chance of occurring.

Yes, you are right, there is no guarantee he will win. But I can say that "by playing an infinite number of times, he will win with probability 1" -- which does not mean "certainty"...
Now, if you play the fact that he cannot enter infinite giveaways (bah, humans!), than I stand corrected -- the chance is never 1 exactly.

P.S.: For those which are confused by "Prob 1 is not certainty": well, technically "probability 0" does not mean "impossible".... Something with probability 0 MIGHT happen... just extremely extremely unoften.
(The correct probability axiom says: "If something is impossible, its probability must be 0." -- but it never says anything about the other way round!)
Example: pick uniformly a real number between 0 and 1. I do the same. What is the chance we pick the same number? Well, it is 0. ZERO. Not infinitesimally close to 0, it is indeed the number zero. But it is possible!
