That was strange. 16 minutes ago apparently my account auto synced with Steam, and only found 3 games (the last three I had played I think).

Manually synced and everything is ok now. Anyone else get this?

I do not know why SteamGifts ever forgets a previously owned game, it doing so seems to cause a load of problems.

I think CG tried to steal your games. Thanks god you manually synched just in time.

not doing so causes more, free weekends falsely show as ownership even if not installed

Ah, but even that is a pretty bad solution, just to that problem (let alone all the other problems it causes). Free Weekends should no show up at all, ever. In fact if you install a free weekend, you more than ever want to see giveaways for it. It is not really OK, for it to temporarily show up as in your account.

It shouldn't, but it does. Steam itself doesn't differentiate between owned game and free weekend (at least not in the public info), I have no idea how that could be solved.
