How long have you been using steam?

The account itself was created 9 years ago to play demo of Mafia II (ah, the memories), but I only actively using it for a year.

5 years (I was 15 years old) before that, I didn't even know what Steam was, just downloaded it because I wanted to play Trackmania United online without interruption and all of the seven cars and four modes. Also was the first time I thought "this game is really good, I want to buy it to thank them. they created a good game and want to support they"

Says 11, but I am using steam actively for about 6-7 years. There was a time, when I bought DVDs to install games ;)

6 year. first game was a call of duty ghost copy from gamestop (that time when they where desperate and started selling empty boxes with steam key in them and no CD) never played it since my brother already had a copy on playstation. and co-op on microsoft window is impossible because you can't have 2 keyboard and 2 mouse at the same time , neither are any game developed with that mindset since ... gosh! need for speed 2 i'd say. (even though you can get a nasa grade computer that can emulate 7 screen . meh... go figure) i don't regret it though. the idea of accumulating all my games all in the same place is what got me into steam. i just added GOG on top of it latter. though i didnt really use my gog library yet.

add 6 year before my steam period where i was on xbox 360. lost the acount too.

add another 6 year before that on computer during the gamespy era. didnt use it. didnt knew it. didnt care.

My badge says 16 years, starting 23 December 2003. Considering Steam went live 12 September 2003, I haven't missed much, hahahahaha! Dang, it's been a long time.

Half-Life 1 (how many of you remember Sierras WON-servers?) and CS are the games that brought me to Valve in the first place, the rest is history...

While I got one 6 years ago I didn't actually use it properly until 1 year later when someone on town of salem wanted to add me and talk to me

about 12 years.i created steam account on 2008.

9 Years ago since I was FORCED to install Steam, I think it was to play Fallout: New Vegas. I still remember Fallout 3 giving you the choice to play with or without Steam.

3 Years. My first game was Stardew Valley. Those were some great hours spent. Feels like longer though.
