Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChart™ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Thanks to luckz for providing the poll answers. He apologizes for the WW1 typo. It's obviously WW2.

Woop woop, this bundle really trips my wires. T3 for the Vietnam PTSD.
I'm abstaining from the Call to Arms, but I must defend the Homefront. T2!
Just a tiny BLACKHOLE in my wallet, plus a mild dose of WW1. T1 it is.
Unsure if this is the Floor I'm looking to Kill. Pondering.
I already fought in these Revolutions, no thanks. Got 'em.
Not even the King's Bounty is enough to entice me, abstaining.
Rebundles of monthlies and past stuff, and that lame subscriber wallet credit. Eh.

KF2 for $6 is an absolute steal if you want a good co-op shooter.

I say it’s worth it’s full $30 price tag. $6 is an insane bargain

Isn't T2 price lower than the lowest it's ever been for Killing Floor 2? I'm interested in playing it but I'm not sure... It looks the same as the first with just better visuals and lootboxes.

There’s 4 bosses (compared the first game’s 1), the best gore system of all time, special weeky gamemodes, much better perk progression with skill trees, daily missions, and it’s just a hell of a lot more fun.

First tier i'd only want blackhole, rest is repeats, second becomes too expensive and no interest so yeah pass.

Chart Correction?

On my key page, it's called Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad with Rising Storm.
Which is the name of AppID 35450. The same AppID that was in the IndieGala Take-Off Mega Bundle. It's also sometimes called:
Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer
or RO2 with Rising Storm.

If you happen to activate the key, please post it here AFTERWARDS. This whole Red Orchestra 2 / Rising Storm is a whole mess and I'd be happy to know what SubId they provide in the bundle.
I repeat: please post it here only AFTER you activate it (so that's it's already a duplicate when I'll try it).

I already owned 35450, but did not own 234510.

0LKP8-MPIDR-0R4NX
Result was:
Activation Successful!
Rising Storm Retail

EDIT: Except, my game count didn't change, and no new library entries. :(
Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer still says ADDED TO ACCOUNT 9/10/2013
But 234510 now shows as owned.
So the key will activate, because it's a different App, but seems you end up with the same Packages?

Rising Storm is a DLC for RO2 MP, so it won't add anything meaningful to your library or game count if you already owned RO2.

so this is the same exact sub package version HB gave away for free in May 2017: https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/qlKMr/free-rising-storm-game-of-the-year-edition-humble-store-ended

if the key activates, it always means you activated package you did not previously own.
and in order for package to activate, it must include at least 1 app you don't own already.

app 234510 is DLC so it's correct your library count didn't increase. but your DLC count should have gone up by one.

Ok, yeah. I have the Rising Storm DLC for Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2 Multiplayer game now.

Hmm, I'm only missing Killing Floor 2 and Blackhole. If Killing Floor 2 was the Deluxe Edition I'd jump on it, but it may end up being too many repeats as is.

TWI prefer if you shell out for DLC and edition upgrades on the Steam Store. :>

I think the Deluxe upgrade went for $4.99 during the last Sale, and I believe every other time it has been discounted. I think I'll pass on this. :)

Thanks for the chart! <3
I thought there would be more "nice" friendly games in it, since it's called "Hope for Orphans".
Seems a tad inappropriate that there's only killing games in it, in my opinion. :D

Good bundle for those who loves the genre and missed the monthlies. Not for me, though.

My first reaction was "MUST BUY"

My second reaction is that (a) I have half of T1, and only sorta kinda want, but will never play one of the other games. (b) I have other games in the series of T2 (Killing Floor, KB Dark, Homefront) and haven't even played them yet

Jeesh... You're one needy dude.
"Oh, a Humble Monthly game in BTA and 2 games that have never been bundled in Tier 1? THIS SUCKS!"

So, I ask this: What would qualify as a minimally good bundle for you? Not the perfect bundle because you'd just want free high-end PCs, newest AAA games and so on. But what is a bundle that you'd buy?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

i bought killing floor 2 one years ago & homefront 8 month ago . kf2 realy nice game but homefront multiplayer completely dead
i don't want newest AAA game , i want a good bundle Without repeating ( doesn't matter old games or new games )

It's not that I don't like shooters, but surely there must be a better theme for a "hope for orphans" bundle...

Well, I guess the message is that the best hope for orphans is to shoot them.

Can anyone tell me if Killing Floor 2 and Homefront The Revolution have decent single player?
What about Rising Storm Vietnam?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

RS2V is a multiplayer shooter like RS2, though RS2 had a weird tacked on attempt at a SP campaign via sequential bot matches; I thought it was pretty bad, but maybe someone else has played through it and can comment.
KF2 is a coop wave shooter.

Does anyone know what region is the Homefront I got if I buy it from Brazil? I want to gift it to someone in Europe.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If you buy it from Brazil, it's probably gonna be this one: https://steamdb.info/sub/100890/
You won't be able to gift it to EU (or rather, EU will not be able to redeem it).
I am basing my answer on the SteamDB items and their region locks, I sadly can't know what Humble Bundle actually provides for customers from BR. It would be great if a fellow Brazilian could help you with a 100% reliable answer

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If it's not the edition you'd like, you can probably still ask for a refund if you can't gift it in the end.
So the "risky" way is: buy the bundle, send Homefront Revolution gift to your friend, don't redeem or touch any other games. If the key doesn't work, ask Humble Support to refund the bundle. Don't know if it takes 2-3 days for them to reply these days, or if it's faster.

Have to say though, NA and RU both got the expected locks, so I'd be 85% sure that BR also gets the expected BR-only version.
