From what I read the point of Champions is to simulate superhero comics, while UrbanHeroes puts heroes into a modern day "global mess".
But yeah, I can see Champions' players being interested in this one as well. I'll notify the similarity to my friends, it could help them advertising their game better. :)

You might be interested in UrbanHeroes.
Some friends of mine made a well-though-out tabletop RPG about superheroes, set in modern days, with a huge focus on powers and hero customization (900k powers/perks/talents/hobbies permutations).
The rulebook itself is a big (almost 300 pages) artbook, like the old D&D manuals used to be.
The game is done and now they started a campaign on KickStarter to have it translated, printed and shipped all over the world.
So yeah, if you like tabletop RPGs, superheroes and/or comics, you might be interested in their project. :)
If you guys have any question, ask the creators directly, they'll usually answer in a matter of minutes (GMT+1 timezone applies). :)
Well guys, that was it. Thanks for your time. ^,...,^
