I bought a new keyboard, which is the Razer BlackWidow on Thursday.
When I opened the box, i found that there was 4 cables joined together.

2 being USB ports, and 2 being those circle ports. I have just found out that on the right side on the keyboard, is a USB port, and 2 circle ports.

What is up with that?

It's on the right side that would be annoying with the mouse on that side, my keyboard has them on the back which makes it neater & out of the way. Don't know if the audio is that useful in it thou i haven't ever used mine & wouldn't imagine many people would
