Found these in 15 seconds of searching. I realize these are not technically 'reviews' but not every single indie game is going to get an official review, there are just too many games these days.
Anyway, again, feel free to have no interest in these games. I have no interest in these games! I really do not understand the appeal.

Odd, in the recent Discovery bundle you were quite enthusiastic about games that also had no "professional reviews". Or that were considered trash, by such reviews. And each of those games are less popular than the titles in this bundle.

You didn't mention the price either here or there. You considered these games trash and adored the others. And how you explained your judgment contradicts itself. That you now focus on the price suggests that you registered the flaws in your own claims.
And nice for you if you consider the Discovery bundle a good investment. To me it was a collection of below-average games, targeted mostly at very young kids and that they aren't popular usually has some good reasons.

I think you are wrong. This is a very good bundle. All the included games belong to the very new Vampire Survivors genre.
And Vampire Survivors was the Most-Played Steam Deck Game in September 2022 (more than Elden Ring).
So a lot of people can´t be wrong and Valve gave this title to Vampire Survivors.
So this bundle does exactly what its title says, it includes some of the '"Best of Survivors-Like" games, and pretty nice ones too for a good price.
Sure, if you don´t know this genre or don´t like it, it is a bad bundle for you. But not for a lot of other players.
I played and completed 100% of Vampire Survivors and had a lot of fun and i like the genre and the clone games of
vampire survivors.
Remember that the price of a game, has nothing do with the fun you can have with it , if you like it!
Vampire Survivors costs less than 5 bucks and has over 180.000 positive reviews. That should be enough!

I understand. Vampire Survivors is the best known of this type of game and it's a shame it's not included in this bundle. i wish i could try it. it got good reviews on metacritic and many professional review sites. but these games like i said imho all look the same anyway

They are not alone on SG with not buying a game at full price. It's pointless to spend more than necessary if it's not urgent.

These are not shovelware or trash flip games in the same senseas most games you find in indiegala bundles.
They are well made (maybe not Rogue of Genesia, at least of me) and have distinct differences to vampire survivors.
Yes they share the same survivor-like theme, but if you play some of them like Boneraiser Minions, Just King and Nomad Survival, you will see they are very different.
If you don't like this genre, that's fine but calling these games shovelware is an insult imo.

Unlike the games in this bundle, Vampire Survivors (VS) is on PC Game Pass (GP). So money-wise, you might as well purchase this bundle to own these games on Steam... and try VS on GP.

I totally respect it if somebody wants to buy a game on a sale, paying less for a game not played immediately is logical.

I am really excited to get Bounty of One from this. Kinda disappointed from the rest though, they are not bad games, they are just... clones. It feels like a bundle of 1 game and 7 reskins.

Tbh, if you haven't played them, these games seem way too similar to justify buying 8 of them in one go, instead of buying their namesake and getting the original experience.
Also, there's a matter of price, which while not high and giving you 1 game per $1, isn't even an 80% off from total sum of base prices of these games.
Good as they may be according to positive reviews, I'll skip this one, as I'm afraid I'd just get fed up with them at 3rd or 4th one. Targeted bundles seem nice, but not with this amount of repeatablity... :/

Yeah, I had the same thoughts. The trouble with themed bundles is that unless you are a huge fan, there likely won't be enough highlights to compensate for the mediocre "more of the very same" parts. And it doesn't help if they rebundle some titles, as in the Boomer shooter bundle.

Edit : I bought it anyway, $1 each seems ok and I'm half interested to see what all the hype is over this "VS" flavor of the month.
Further Edit : Hmm, seems my time with VS soured me? These games have improved upon that and made it fun. Has VS been updated or is it still bad? I refunded that game after 1 hour.

Kinda too, but it would be nice if they bundled google play codes somehow, because the humble app is painful to use and the games have not been updated and many of them don't work any more. Same deal as steam codes > dmr-free builds.

I found the opposite. I hated VS and I did not understand at all the appeal. I took a chance here since I saw these games took VS and tried something different. I played 5/8 and I like all of them so far. I refunded VS
