So if you lived in Middle Earth, what race you you like to live as?
Just a random question I got to thinking (and yo all should know just how dangerous that can be) about.

Just for the hell of it.

Edit- the Race Sauron was doesn't count as I don't think it's ever been disclosed.

I voted other, and I chose Beorning. Mainly because they generally are powerful and can turn into bears, which is cool lol :D

Oh, also: Technically Sauron was one of the ‎Ainur‎ (‎Maiar‎), along with Gandalf and the other wizards, but I think a Maiar is too OP to be an option

Yes, he was basically like a corrupted angel.

More like an evil lesser god.

The Valar and Maiar were the same in essence, just different in power.

It's a tough question. Like hobbits I very much like to eat seven meals a day, but I don't think I could live with being short.

A White Nazgûuul, one of the Ur-Balrogs before the Darkening of Melchor. Not to be confused with a common Ringwraith (also referred to as just "Nazgûl"), as White Nazgûuul walked the plains of Ante-Posterior-Medium-Terra in the Age of Light, 750 millennia before the former were bound to the Ring of Power by Sauron the deceiver. It is said that White Nazgûuul are encompassed by Light itself, and thus glow whiter than even Saruman's robes, or indeed Gandalf after his transmogrification and vanillisation. Legend has it that a few White Nazgûuul survived the great Purge at Isildur's Crest, but records of their existence were only whispered in ominous tones during second breakfast and some scattered murmurings in the East. Nevertheless, it is known that all but the weakest White Nazgûuul have +10 charisma, +2 extra swag and of course +27 whiteness compared to lesser, more boring races. But if White Nazgûul don't count for some stupid silly invaild reason, I'd just rather be a not-Man.

Elf seems obvious, you don't age and you're great looking and educated and well trained. Elves are great in that universe.

From Rivendell, Lothlórien or Lindon, sure, why not. From Mirkwood, no way, not with spiders as huge as bears (not to mention the horrors from Dol Guldur, but a giant spider is scarier than a horde of Mûmakil). Though Elves are too melancholic in Middle Earth, and I don't want to live thousands of years with a heavy heart. I would go to Valinor as soon as I can.
I would prefer a simple Hobbit life. Normal lifetime, you're short (but who cares when you live in a region where everyone is short, except for the rare strangers), your feet are out of control, but you have a happy life. You don't know almost anything about the war, your biggest problem is to decide what to eat between honey and cheese, you have a cozy little house.

I would not mind being a hobbit. Good food, and you don't hit your head on low hanging signs (that really hurts)

race doesn't matter a lot, the question is the age, and the ancient ages were much much more badass ;P

Elf, not even a question. Though their culture seems a bit too stiff and formal, the pros outweigh the cons.

I like to eat and have a belly. Like to rest and live quietly. I don't mind holes in the ground as long as they are nice and dry holes with round doors and not dump and unwelcoming.
